In order to qualify as a fellow, applicants must fulfill the following eligibility requirements*:
- A citizen of the U.S. Or a qualified foreign national.
- A graduate from a school of medicine or osteopathic medicine in the U.S. Or Canada, or a qualified foreign medical school.
- Anticipate teaching in general pediatrics, general internal medicine or family medicine upon completion of the fellowship.
* Selection preference available for under-represented minorities and
physicians who work at least 50% time in an underserved community.
