After 33 years of training over 600 fellows for careers in academic medicine, the Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Michigan State University will not be offered for the upcoming academic year.
This national fellowship program has been supported in part by a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Public Health Service. Our current grant support ended this year, and HRSA chose not to offer a grant cycle.
We have appreciated the opportunity to train and work with so many talented fellows. We wish them nothing but success as they continue their leadership roles in academic primary care education programs.
